MOTHER HUBBLE

Inspired by Nancy Grace Roman, NASA’s first Chief Astronomer, this cocktail is truly out-of-this-world. Nicknamed ‘The Mother of Hubble’ for her significant contribution in developing the Hubble Space Telescope, Nancy paved the way for breakthroughs in space exploration.

Granny Smith Apple sits at the base of this serve, as tubes of apple sauce were amongst the first foods to be consumed by astronauts in outer space (as well as ground meat in toothpaste tubes… so glad we are not astronauts).  ‘Mother Hubble’ is thoughtfully topped with Moët & Chandon Champagne as a toast to Nancy, Pioneer of Space Exploration, Advocate for Women in Science and Queen of the Night Sky. Here’s to you!

HYPATIA

Classy, thought-provoking and fancy… and that’s just the drink! Hypatia was a Greek Philosopher who lived in Alexandria, Egypt, under the rule of the Roman Empire. She is renowned as the earliest female philosopher to note that knowledge, does in fact, exist. Essentially ‘I think therefore I am’, but 1200 years prior to it being written down (take that René Descartes!). Even Socrates bowed down before her true awesomeness. You love to see it.

Inspired by this prominent thinker, we have combined flavours of White Chocolate, Fig and Apricot with Cognac in an unexpectedly and refreshingly light fashion. Dare to be different, dare to stand against the odds, dare to be….. Hypatia.

ADA LOVELACE

Decadent. Indulgent. Intelligent. This cocktail endeavours to capture the essence of what made Ada Lovelace truly outstanding. A 19th Century genius who built the blocks on which modern-day computer programming sits atop.

She was the first person to realise that machines had applications beyond pure calculation (not sure what this means exactly, but it sounds wicked smart). Chiefly known for developing the first algorithm to be used on such a device and for her significant contribution towards the ‘Analytical Engine’, The Right Honourable Countess of Lovelace truly earned her title.

Combining Whistlepig 10yo Rye, Sweet Plum Sherry and our own ‘Re-programmed MAC’, this strong and bold concoction reflects the spirit of what pushed Ada Lovelace to new heights… and beyond.
